Our Premium Wide Plank countertops are made with hand-selected hardwoods that are free of blemish and sapwood. Planks range in size from 5-12" wide. For our these tops, we use our famous Hand Rubbed Marine Oil Finish^tm - the most durable, lustrous finish in the industry. Premium wide plank countertops require minimal maintenance and are built to last for decades. Guaranteed.

Brooks Custom Standard Plank Countertops

Standard Plank Countertops

These are the equal of most wood tops found in the market today. They represent a cost concious choice, while still enjoying the pleasures of wood countertops. Standard Plank countertops are built using 3-5" boards that may include tight knots, some light grain, and pith marks. Treated with 4 coats of Waterlox Tung Oil finish, our Standard Plank countertops are water and stain resistant and require occasional maintenance. Wood countertops can be both beautiful and functional. They are warmer to the touch than stone and quartz and offer a deeper, richer look than solid surface.

End Grain Countertops

End Grain countertops offer a traditional design solution for the authentic look and feel of natural and healthy Butcher Block. Built using vertical facing wood members, typically 1Â¾" x 1Â¾", end grain countertops look like random, offset squares. They are meant for chopping and food prep. These tops are sealed and oiled in our shop and require regular maintenance with butcher block dressing oil.

This "cut and chop" surface is ideal for the professional or semi professional cook. Wood is one of the "healthy" products found in the kitchen, with inherent properties that protect it from bacteria build-up. Edge grain countertops are built with 1 3/4" wood staves and can be made to any desired thickness. They are sealed and oiled in our shop and require regular maintenance with butcher block dressing oil. Edge grain counters are a cost concious choice in kitchen design.
