Stainless Steel Countertops
- Use of a trivet for very hot pots is recommended.
- If you wish to minimize scratch marks and preserve your knife blades, use a cutting board for chopping.
- Minor scratches and mineral streaking can be brushed out with a household 3M Scotch brite pad.
- We recommend "Stainless Steel Magic" cleaner and polish. This also minimizes fingerprints.
- Deep scratches may be sanded through the grades up to 220 and buffed with the same pad.
- Use a circular pattern for a #4 finish or a straight-line motion for a machine brush.
- Mirror polish Stainless may be serviced with automotive compound and a machine-polishing pad.
